Meet the Lewisville Team Behind Otto’s Garage Door
We’re a small crew by design. Every person who shows up at your door in Lewisville lives in this county, answers to Otto Reinhardt directly, and carries the same promise on their back that Otto signs on every invoice. No subs, no rotating cast, no stranger in a rental van. The person who answers your call knows the person who shows up. Most weeks, they’ve already worked three jobs together before Thursday. That’s how you keep a 90-day guarantee honest, and it’s how you keep a reputation for 29 years without buying a single billboard.
Our People
Marcus T. – Lead Technician
Marcus has been turning wrenches on garage doors since 2011, and he’s been with Otto’s since 2015. He’s the guy who trains everyone else on torsion spring math and cable routing, and he can diagnose a LiftMaster logic board failure by ear before he opens the housing. Marcus is certified across LiftMaster, Chamberlain, Genie, and Wayne Dalton systems, and he’s the one Otto sends when a door has been repaired twice by someone else and still won’t balance. Outside work, Marcus rebuilds old carburetors in his garage in Highland Village and coaches his daughter’s softball team. If he tells you a spring has 4,000 cycles left on it, he’s done the math in his head, not guessed.
Denise R. – Service Coordinator
Denise is the voice on the phone more often than not, and she’s been with Otto’s since 2018. She knows the difference between a broken spring and a stripped gear from how a caller describes the noise, which means she can quote the job honestly before a truck moves. Denise keeps the schedule straight, tracks every 90-Day Done Right Promise in writing, and remembers which customers prefer a text update when the technician is twenty minutes out. She’s a Lewisville native who knows the side streets in Castle Hills and The Colony well enough to route around school-zone traffic in her head. If you call at nine at night with a door stuck open, Denise is the calm voice who tells you exactly what to do until Otto or Marcus gets there.
Eddie P. – Senior Installer
Eddie has installed more Clopay and Amarr doors in Denton County than he can count, and he’s been doing it since 2012. He’s the finish carpenter of the crew: if your new door needs to fit a frame that’s settled a half-inch over twenty years, Eddie’s the one who makes it look like the house was built around the door. He handles full tear-outs, rail extensions, and the heavier custom jobs, and he’s the go-to for Wayne Dalton torque-master retrofits. Eddie hunts morel mushrooms every spring along the Trinity River and once found a 1943 steel penny under a customer’s old door track in Flower Mound. He keeps it in his truck as a good-luck charm, and he’ll show it to you if you ask.
Chris M. – Apprentice
Chris is the newest member of the crew, apprenticing under Marcus since 2024. He handles parts runs, assists on installs, and is already running solo on opener replacements and photo-eye alignments after six months of supervised jobs. Otto hired Chris because he showed up early to the interview with a notebook and a list of questions about torsion spring safety, not because he had the most experience on paper. Chris grew up in Lewisville near Lake Park and went to Lewisville High School. He’s the reason you might see a familiar face twice on one job: once when he’s shadowing Marcus, and again when Otto’s confident enough to send him back on his own.
One Standard, Every Job
The rule is simple: the name on the van is the name on the invoice and the name on the license. Every crew member carries Otto’s name on their back, which means nobody cuts a corner, skips a safety check, or leaves a door adjusted to “good enough.” Marcus doesn’t sign off on a spring install he wouldn’t put on his own garage. Denise doesn’t quote a number Otto wouldn’t hold at the door. Eddie doesn’t hang a door he wouldn’t want his neighbors seeing from the street. And Chris isn’t allowed near a job alone until he’s proven he understands why a 200-pound door riding on two springs deserves respect. That’s how the 90-Day Done Right Promise stays in writing instead of becoming marketing fluff. Every one of us lives close enough to drive past your house on Saturday, and we’d rather wave than avoid eye contact.
